WAVE Local News App Reviews

The breaking news notification "Wave 3 News jingle" is annoying at best. I was hoping it was just an addition for Derby but it seems that it wasnt. Please roll back this "improvement" and revert back to letting ME CHOOSE what sound my phone makes for news notifications.

Every time I try & access the traffic portion of the app it closes automatically! Done this ever since I downloaded it. Crappy app.

Ive switched online news apps. The other station I was reading updates slowly and doesnt seem to report news only crimes & accidents. WAVE seems to cover everything.

Love Wave3 but please dont send alerts at 3:30am unless its a life threatening emergency.

I actually like the app very much it seems accurate and up to date I use it at least every day. One problem I see Im having is when I tap on the app it takes 15 seconds to load and I think that seems kinda slow compared to some other apps.

This is the first app I open every morning to catch the latest happenings in our city. I really appreciate being able to immediately share stories with my social media outlets. I would like to see it updated over the weekend, however.

Love the notifications sent . Keeps me on top of whats going on. Also have weather app and it also keeps me up-to-date on weather conditions.

I love how this keeps me informed and is quick to bring me breaking news!

Get fast news alerts! Know the weather when I need to know. The most useful app I have on my phone. Use the app several times a day. Thanks WAVE 3 keep up the great work! -Trent

The app runs fairly well but has way to many notifications. Tim Tebow giving baseball a shot isnt breaking news and I dont need notified of this just put it in the app. Its not an important thing.

Its a great source for news and I love the alerts it sends to my phone. The weather app is amazing as well. Great job!

I love having the instant access that the Wave 3 News and Weather app allows me to have to keep informed on current happenings in the news locally, nationally, and internationally. Thank you Wave 3 for keeping me prepared!!

For about a year Ive received news alerts and notifications from WDRB, but when I signed up for WAVE 3 News alerts, WAVE 3 News alerts were quicker and more timely as to providing news when it happens. Keep up the excellent work!!!

I love this app

Easy to navigate. Video tends to be very sharp. Photos not so much. Very timely news posts.

I love everything about this app except 1 thing. My coworkers often get the same texts much quicker than I do. Everything else I love!
