Ive switched online news apps. The other station I was reading updates slowly and doesnt seem to report news only crimes & accidents. WAVE seems to cover everything.
I actually like the app very much it seems accurate and up to date I use it at least every day. One problem I see Im having is when I tap on the app it takes 15 seconds to load and I think that seems kinda slow compared to some other apps.
This is the first app I open every morning to catch the latest happenings in our city. I really appreciate being able to immediately share stories with my social media outlets. I would like to see it updated over the weekend, however.
Love the notifications sent . Keeps me on top of whats going on. Also have weather app and it also keeps me up-to-date on weather conditions.
I love how this keeps me informed and is quick to bring me breaking news!
Get fast news alerts! Know the weather when I need to know. The most useful app I have on my phone. Use the app several times a day. Thanks WAVE 3 keep up the great work! -Trent
Some bad moments
The breaking news notification "Wave 3 News jingle" is annoying at best. I was hoping it was just an addition for Derby but it seems that it wasnt. Please roll back this "improvement" and revert back to letting ME CHOOSE what sound my phone makes for news notifications.
Every time I try & access the traffic portion of the app it closes automatically!
Done this ever since I downloaded it. Crappy app.
The app runs fairly well but has way to many notifications. Tim Tebow giving baseball a shot isnt breaking news and I dont need notified of this just put it in the app. Its not an important thing.
I actually love this app I hate to rate it like this but I cant help it. My reason is the commercial pop ups I cant click on anything without a pop up in my face. Ive been tempted to delete this app I will if it doesnt stop.
The links within the articles wont open now. Some of the articles wont open. The back arrow doesnt work. Im no expert but I dont recommend this update.
Every time I try to read a mews article the app sends me to the Internet for an ad. Frustrating!
